MT103 payment confirmation: Proof of payment simplified

If you need secure proof that a payment is on its way, the MT103 confirmation is here to help. This standardised SWIFT message is widely accepted as confirmation of payment, detailing everything you need - from date and amount to currency, sender, and recipient.

Why use MT103?

  • The MT103 confirmation verifies that the bank has processed your order to send funds.

  • It means the payment is irrevocably en route, providing reliable proof for deliveries or services requiring advance payment verification.

How to get your MT103 confirmation with amnis?

For SWIFT payments made through your multi-currency IBAN, you can easily download the MT103 confirmation in a few clicks from your amnis account. Just go to the payment details, click on the three dots, and download the MT103 file.

New multi-currency logic for card transactions: More control, seamless payments

We’ve updated our multi-currency logic to give you greater flexibility with your card transactions. This update applies when you’ve selected “Pay in Merchant Currency,” meaning transactions are processed in the merchant’s local currency.

Here’s what’s new: If you’re paying in a currency not yet set up in your amnis account, we’ll automatically debit the amount in your card’s currency, typically the currency of the country where your card was issued. Until now, we’ve automatically added the required currency account for you.

Your advantage with this change: This update gives you complete control over your currency setup. We no longer auto-open new currency accounts, allowing you to manage only the currencies where you already hold funds. Need to add another currency? No problem - open new currency accounts in just one click, at no extra cost.

What stays the same? Enjoy transparent pricing. For your amnis debit card transactions, there are no FX margins or transaction fees, regardless of the currency. Pay with confidence, knowing that what you see is what you pay.

PS: You can always adjust your card settings in the admin area of your amnis account.

VAT tracking for card transactions

We’ve introduced a new option to make VAT tracking more flexible for you!

You can now enable or disable VAT tracking on your card transactions - previously, this was automatically enabled for all accounts.

When VAT tracking is enabled, you and your team can record VAT rates on card transactions, streamlining expense management and bookkeeping for your accounting team. If disabled, VAT rates won’t be requested, simplifying the expense management interface for both logged-in users and public receipt uploads.

Update this setting anytime in the admin area under “Card transaction settings” to match your business needs:

Good to know:

  • The mobile app will be updated in the coming weeks to include this change.

  • If you disable VAT tracking, any previously stored VAT data will remain saved in your account.
