What is a QR-IBAN?
A QR-IBAN is a special type of IBAN used exclusively for QR invoices. It supports the use of reference numbers (QR-Reference), enabling automated matching of incoming payments with invoices.
Where can I find my QR-IBAN in amnis?
Each amnis client receives a dedicated LI-IBAN specifically for QR invoice generation in Swiss Francs (CH/FL). Your QR-IBAN is available in the “Accounts” section of your amnis WebApp. Simply click on your CHF account and select “Account details” to get your IBAN details for CHF invoices. It will be clearly labeled as “QR-IBAN".
How does it work?
You can enter this QR-IBAN into your accounting or invoicing software. The software will then use it to generate QR codes containing all necessary payment details, including a reference number. These QR codes can be added to invoices in Swiss Francs (CH/FL) and sent to your clients, allowing them to pay by simply scanning the code with their banking app.
Through the amnis integration with your accounting system or CAMT file import, you’ll then be able to automatically reconcile incoming payments with your bookkeeping.
Please note: QR codes cannot be generated directly within the amnis WebApp. You will need to use your accounting or invoicing software to create them.
