Connect your AI assistant to amnis using the amnis MCP (Model Context Protocol).
This guide walks you through setting up the connection in Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor, checking that it works and troubleshooting common issues.
Before you start
You need to be an administrator in amnis.
Your AI tool must allow custom connectors. This feature is often limited to paid plans.
The amnis MCP address is

You connect once for each AI tool and once for each business partner.

Claude
In Claude, go to Customize, then Add, then Add custom connector.
Enter a name, for example “amnis MCP”, and the address
https://mcp.amnistreasury.com/mcp.Claude opens an amnis sign-in page. Log in with your usual amnis credentials.
Choose the business partner to connect and accept access.
ChatGPT
In ChatGPT, open Settings, then Apps & Connectors.
Add a custom connector and enter the address

Cursor
Add amnis MCP to your Cursor configuration file,

2. Restart Cursor. The first time you use it, Cursor opens an amnis sign-in page.
3. Log in, choose the business partner and accept access.
Check the connection
Ask a question that only reads data, for example:
“What’s my position across all my amnis accounts this morning?”
“List my last five payments in amnis.”
What if connecting does not work?
You cannot add a custom connector. Your AI tool plan may not include custom connectors. Check with your AI provider.
amnis shows an error when you accept access. Only administrators can accept. Check that you are logged in as an administrator of the right business partner.
Your assistant asks you to sign in again. Your connection has expired. Sign in to amnis when prompted.
The assistant only sees one entity. Each connection covers one business partner. Connect the others separately.
