Why am I not receiving the SMS verification code?

If you're not receiving your SMS verification code when setting up two-factor authentication (2FA), the steps below should help you resolve the issue.

Check the following first:

  1. Mobile signal and roaming: Make sure you have a stable mobile connection. If you're travelling abroad, confirm that your SIM card supports international SMS reception.

  2. Registered phone number: Verify that the phone number on file is correct and still in use.

  3. Carrier filtering: Some mobile providers automatically block messages from automated senders. Check your carrier's spam or message filtering settings, as your code may be getting blocked before it reaches you.
