What is bexio Pay?
bexio pay is a partnership product by amnis and bexio.
amnis is a regulated payment institution and acts both as the issuer of the Business Debit Card and as the provider of the associated payment accounts. With the bexio Pay debit card, card payments are automatically synchronized with your bexio accounting in real time.
To enable the automatic synchronization of card transactions with bexio, the following is required:
a connection to bexio, and
the activation of synchronization, and
a newly ordered bexio debit card

bexio Pay consists of the amnis Launch Package and the bexio synchronization.

The use of bexio Pay — i.e. the automatic synchronization of card transactions* — costs:
CHF 14.– per month
Billed monthly at the end of each month
No annual billing available
The synchronization can be cancelled on a monthly basis
*Synchronization applies exclusively to card transactions, not to account transactions.
amnis Launch package
amnis Launch package
To use bexio pay, an amnis package is required.
Each amnis package includes the opening of a new payment account, which is necessary for using the cards and processing transactions.
The amnis Launch Package costs CHF 19 per month. With an active bexio sync, the amnis Launch plan is free of charge.

Customers who actively use bexio Pay receive the Launch Package and the bexio synchronization free of charge.

If the bexio synchronization is deactivated, the following billing rules apply:
The bexio pay synchronization fee (CHF 14) is charged in full for the current month and billed at month-end.
From the moment of disconnection, amnis package fees apply again (by default, the Launch Package, unless a different package is selected).
amnis package fees are:
charged at the beginning of the month
calculated pro rata
Example:
If synchronization is disconnected on the 15th of the month:
On the 15th, the amnis package fee is charged pro rata for the remaining days of the month
At month-end, the CHF 14 bexio pay fee is billed in full
What happens if I reconnect bexio Sync after disconnecting?

⚠️ Important: If you disconnect bexio Sync and then reconnect it (even in the same month or a new month), the following applies:
The CHF 14 bexio Sync fee is charged for the entire month in which the synchronization is active — even if it was only active for a single day.
If you disconnected mid-month and reconnect in the following month, you will be charged CHF 14 for the disconnection month (billed at month-end) plus CHF 14 for the reconnection month (billed at the end of that month).
Multiple disconnect/reconnect cycles in the same year can therefore result in accumulated fees that may appear unexpectedly high.
Practical tip: If you only need to temporarily pause the bexio integration, it is more cost-effective to leave the synchronization active rather than disconnecting and reconnecting, since each reconnection triggers a full month's charge.

Early-adopter promotional pricing (CHF 9.90/month)
When bexio Pay launched, customers who activated the service before 28 February 2025 received an introductory rate of CHF 9.90/month for bexio Sync (instead of the standard CHF 14/month) for their first 12 months of subscription.
After the promotional period ends, the bexio Sync fee automatically reverts to the standard CHF 14/month. This is not a billing error — it is the planned transition from promotional to standard pricing.
What this means in practice:
If you signed up under the early-adopter offer, your first 12 months were billed at CHF 9.90/month.
From month 13 onwards (or from 1 March 2025, whichever came later), the fee automatically increased to CHF 14/month.
No separate notification email is sent for this automatic transition.
If you believe the transition was applied incorrectly: download the PDF fee breakdown from your CHF/EUR account (Transaction type → Fee-payment → Download PDF) and contact [email protected] with the PDF attached within 15 calendar days.
