Google Pay is a secure online payment system that allows you to make fast and contactless purchases online and in stores with your mobile devices. Google Wallet, on the other hand, is the digital wallet for Android devices where you can store your debit card as well as tickets, passes, and IDs.

With Google Pay, you can use your amnis debit card - whether physical or virtual - to pay contactless in stores worldwide using your phone or smartwatch.

To get started, you need to add your amnis card to Google Wallet. It's quick and easy:

Add your card via the Google Wallet app

You can add your amnis card directly in Google Wallet.

Ensure you have Google Wallet installed – if not, download it from the Google Play Store.

  1. Open the Google Wallet app on your Android device.

  2. Tap Add to Wallet at the bottom of the screen.

  3. Select Payment cardNew credit or debit card.

  4. Use your camera to scan your card or enter the details manually.

  5. At the bottom, tap Save and continue.

  6. Read and accept the Issuer Terms.

💡 Haven’t created your amnis debit card yet?
Simply log in to your amnis account on your computer and issue your first debit card within seconds!

Getting an error when adding the card to Google Wallet?
Make sure the cardholder's mobile phone number is stored in the amnis webapp. If it's missing, the card cannot be added to Google Wallet. Admins and Card Admins can enter the cardholder's phone number in the Card User Management tab in the debit card section.

💡 Why do I see a small charge from Google Pay?
Once your card has been added, Google Pay may place a small temporary charge on your account to verify your card details. This charge will automatically disappear and does not affect your amnis account balance.

That’s it! You’re ready for contactless payments with amnis. Your phone is now your wallet – just unlock, tap, and pay wherever Google Pay is accepted.
