Apple Pay is a secure payment system by Apple that allows you to make fast and contactless purchases online and in stores using your iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad, or Mac. Apple Wallet, on the other hand, is the digital wallet app on Apple devices where you can store your debit or credit cards, as well as tickets, passes, and IDs.

With Apple Pay, you can use your amnis debit card - whether physical or virtual - to pay contactless in stores worldwide using your Apple devices.

To get started, you need to add your amnis card to Apple Wallet. It's quick and easy:

Add your card via the Apple Wallet app

You can add your amnis card directly to Apple Wallet.

Ensure you have Apple Wallet installed – if not, download it from the App Store.

  1. Open the Apple Wallet app on your iPhone.

  2. Tap the + icon in the top-right corner.

  3. Select Debit or Credit Card.

  4. Use your camera to scan your card or enter the card details manually.

  5. Follow the on-screen instructions.

  6. Review and accept the issuer Terms to complete the setup.

Getting an error when adding the card to Apple Wallet?

In most cases, adding the card to Apple Pay is not possible if you are still using an outdated version of iOS, watchOS or macOS. In this case, please update your device to the latest version.

Another possible reason is a poor internet connection, which may prevent the card from being added.

Lastly, make sure the cardholder's mobile phone number is stored in the amnis webapp. If it's missing, the card cannot be added to Apple Wallet. Admins and Card Admins can enter the cardholder's phone number in the Card User Management tab in the debit card section.

💡Why do I see a small charge from Apple Pay?
Once your card has been added, Apple Pay may place a small temporary charge on your account to verify your card details. This charge will automatically disappear and does not affect your amnis account balance.

That’s it! You’re ready for contactless payments with amnis. Your phone is now your wallet – just unlock, tap, and pay wherever Apple Pay is accepted.
