Behind the scenes, we’ve been continuously improving how amnis supports automated workflows across accounting, expenses, and integrations. The goal is simple: less manual work, fewer edge cases, and smoother processes - even at scale.

AI-powered expense processing activated

Great news: Expense AI is now active in your amnis account - no setup required, it’s already switched on! From the moment a receipt is uploaded, amnis automatically extracts key data, assigns accounting categories, and applies VAT logic for you.

That means faster expense processing and significantly less manual correction - even across international transactions. Simply upload a receipt and try it out!

What’s improved:

  • Available across your amnis web and mobile applications! To use the newest mobile features, make sure you download the latest version of the amnis app from your app store.

  • Merchant settings & auto-accounting: Recurring transactions are automatically categorized, now also manageable by card admins in the mobile app.

  • FX-aware receipt extraction: When your card transactions are settled in the card currency, our AI now calculates VAT in the booked currency, not the receipt currency - eliminating common FX-related VAT mismatches.

You’re in control: AI features can be turned off at any time under your settings → AI & Automation. Plus, you can always review and adjust the data before it’s finalized.

Fully automated CAMT & OFX exports

CAMT.053 and OFX 2.x exports can now be fully automated. Simply set a schedule (daily or monthly), and the exports are sent automatically to you or your team - no manual steps needed.

Just like manual one-off exports, this new automation can be configured per currency wallet, per card group, or across all currencies. Once it’s set up, it runs reliably in the background - and you have one less recurring task on your checklist.

More powerful expense workflows via Public API

We’ve expanded the public API to better support automated and AI-driven expense workflows - especially for fiduciaries, partners and enterprises building custom processes.

New & improved endpoints include:

  • Magic Link URL in transactions: Enables automated reminders for receipt uploads via your own tools (e.g. Slack, Teams).

  • Update expense data via API: Amend or enrich expense information programmatically.

  • Mark expenses as complete via API: Finalize expenses based on rules - without user interaction.

Why this matters in practice:

For example, small transactions (like a CHF 3 parking ticket) can now be handled automatically, without bothering decision-makers with reminders for receipts - while still keeping books clean.

More transparency for cards & card groups

We’ve added a user-friendly audit log for cards and card groups, so you can easily track changes and stay in control.

Faster contact search

Contact search now includes IBAN and account numbers across Payments and Contacts, helping you find the right recipient in seconds.
