ACH (Automated Clearing House) is a local payment scheme used for electronically moving money between bank accounts across the United States (US).

The main advantage of this local payment route is the low-cost way of transferring funds. ACH transfers are often almost free, whereas for e.g. SWIFT payments, banks usually charge transfer or recipient fees.

With amnis, you have the option of sending and receiving USD either via ACH (locally) or via SWIFT (cross-border): You get a virtual, domestic US account number in your company’s name for local USD collection. It also allows you to execute USD payments via our local payment rails. For USD transfers outside the US we offer SWIFT payments.

Find more information about your options with the amnis foreign currency business account.
