In order to use the physical debit card and make your first card payments, you must activate your card.

There is a difference between activating the virtual and physical debit card:
Virtual debit card
You don’t need to activate the virtual debit card yourself: It is automatically activated right after the card has been issued in the amnis account. Your virtual card can therefore be used instantly.
Physical debit card
After the physical debit card has been ordered, you will receive the card within 14 business days together with an activation instruction in the cover letter.
Depending on whether you are an admin user or a card user, the card activation process is slightly different:
Administrators and card users with an amnis account
You can simply follow the steps in the enclosed letter, which are as follows:
Log into your amnis account
Navigate to to the “Debit cards” section on the left
Select the card you’d like to activate and click “Activate card”
Enter the three digits of your card's CVV code and click "Activate card" again
Your card is activated and ready to use!
Non-registered card user
As a card user without an amnis account, you either receive an email to create your personal login and activate your card, or the admin user (e.g. your manager) will do it for you:
What to do when you receive an email
You receive an email once the admin user orders your card. Follow the link in the email to set up your amnis login. In case you don’t have a business email address, you can use your private email address. Once you receive the card by post, you can simply follow the instructions for activating the card (see steps for administrators in previous section) in your amnis account.
What to do when you do not receive an email
This means that the admin user, for example your manager, will activate the card for you. All you need is the card and the PIN and you are ready to go!
