We’re always looking for new ways to make your international banking easier. This month we’re sharing some useful tips to manage your contacts more efficiently.

Importing contacts to amnis

We offer you the possibility to import your beneficiary data with an Excel file to avoid the need for manual input. This way, it is easy to transfer the beneficiary information from your accounting software to amnis all at once, by exporting the data and uploading it quickly and effortlessly.

How it works:

  1. Go to the "Contacts" section in your amnis account and click on "Import contacts".

  2. Download the provided XLSX template by clicking on the "Download" button.

  3. Open the file on your computer, complete it with your contact data and save the changes.

  4. Return to your account and upload the completed file to amnis by clicking on the "Upload my file" button.

  5. Finally, click on "Import my contacts" to import the contact data.

Under "All contacts" you can now see your imported beneficiaries!

Do you want to export your existing contact data?

Simply go to the "Contacts" section in your account and click on "Export contacts". An Excel file with your existing contacts including bank account details will be downloaded.

Pro-tip: Doing mass changes for contacts

The export functionality is also useful when you need to change the details of several contacts. You can do your changes directly in the downloaded Excel file (e.g. changing the bank account numbers) and then upload the file again to amnis (via “Import contacts”). The contact details are automatically updated.
