In our second update of 2024, we put the spotlight on the opportunity to earn interest through balance cashback on your amnis funds. Additionally, we share the latest debit card enhancements to boost your experience with amnis. ✨

Balance Cashback: Earn interest on your amnis account

We're thrilled to announce that amnis now forwards interest earned on your positive EUR, USD, GBP, and CZK balances to your amnis account. Your funds are securely held in bankruptcy-protected trust accounts with a high credit ranking at all times.

Unlike traditional banks, amnis provides instant access to funds, and there are no blocking periods or maximum amounts. Additionally, as one of the few providers, we pass on interest also on foreign currency accounts, ensuring you receive balance cashback not only in your home currency.

Annualized cashback rates of January 2024

EUR: 1.90% USD: 2.64% GBP: 2.43% CZK: 3.55%

The balance cashback will be forwarded monthly (EU customers) or quarterly (CH customers) at the beginning of each subsequent month

What does this mean for an amnis customer?

As an active customer, we will forward the balance cashback to your amnis account within the first 10 business days of the next period (monthly or quarterly). You will receive an email from us with the calculated cashback amount per currency account.

Haven't yet finished your onboarding?

With your demo account, the next step is to complete the onboarding, which can be done within 48 hours - completely digital and paperless. As an onboarded customer, you can start transferring money to your amnis account and receiving money from invoices, among other services.

Statements of monthly card transactions

We've released statements for debit card transactions, which can be accessed and downloaded at any time via the amnis WebApp.

There are two ways to download card statements:

Navigate to Debit Cards and select the relevant card. Under “show filters” you can specify the period for which you would like to see the statement and use additional filters if you wish. Click on "Export" and download the file as a PDF or CSV file.

Go to Tools → Statements and pick the relevant card under “Debit card statements”. Select the month you want to view the statement for and download the statement - all done!

Plus: We are currently working on informing you with an e-mail notification about the statements. As a card administrator, you will soon be automatically notified by email when new monthly statements are available to make things as convenient as possible for you.

Auto-tagging of debit card transactions

Categorizing transactions of physical and virtual cards is an important tool to analyze your cash flow, for example for an ongoing project, event or personnel expenses.

This is where “auto-tagging” of card transactions comes into play. All transactions are automatically labeled with one or more tags associated with the respective debit card, which effortlessly increases the accuracy of reporting.

How it works:

If you have already created tags and want to add tags to a card, follow the steps below:

1. As the card administrator, select the card and go to the card settings.

2. Enter your tags - you can add as many tags as you like!

3. Save the settings.

P.S: If you are issuing a new card, you can also already add tags directly in the card creation process.

Haven’t created any tags yet?

Under "Tools" → "Insights" you have the option to manage all your tags. Take a look at our step-by-step guide to help you create tags and apply them to your cards!

💡 Shared card transaction link for receipt uploads

For small business owners, we understand the challenge and manual burden of reminding employees to upload receipts for card transactions, even if they’ve probably already received a receipt upload request via email.

Starting today, we're making it easier for you. With just a few clicks, you can share a unique receipt upload link with the card user or the employee responsible for adding receipts to transactions. This feature streamlines the process of adding expenses and related information effortlessly.

It only takes a few simple steps:

Go to the card transaction overview, select the relevant transaction, and click the “Share transaction” button in the upper right corner. This action will copy a unique link. Share the link with your employee, enabling them to directly upload the receipt for the specific transaction.

💙 Dont' miss out: Become an amnis beta tester
