Before we go into the specifics of how to get your card, let's take a moment to recap the core card features:

  1. Instant team cards, smartly managed: Instantly issue physical and virtual cards for your company online. Set customized limits and restrictions, flexibly de- and reactivate cards for one-off purchases, and monitor budgets with ease while safely providing your employees access to funds.

  2. Streamlined expense management: Automatically tag and allocate card transactions to projects or departments, ensuring comprehensive reporting and constant clarity on who owns each payment. Simplify expense management across your team with our receipt upload feature, and expedite bookkeeping by seamlessly importing transaction files into your accounting software.

  3. Truly multi-currency, no more surprises: Discover the capabilities of the amnis multi-currency debit card, erasing hidden expenses and reinstating transparency to your payment workflows. As long as your overall balance is sufficient, we automatically handle your card transactions across countries and currencies, sidestepping needless fx conversions.

Debit vs. credit card

Debit cards bring numerous benefits to businesses which have security concerns and need to restrict overspending. With a debit card, expenditures are restricted to the accessible account balance, granting businesses complete control over their outlays and sparing them from steep overdraft charges. In contrast, credit cards offer overdraft capabilities, typically requiring monthly repayments. While this may appear advantageous initially, it's important to note that overdraft fees rank among the world's most expensive debts, consequently amplifying overall risk.

How to order your first cards

Both physical and virtual cards can be conveniently issued online with a few clicks by the card administrator.

To begin, access your amnis account and head to the "Debit cards" section on the left. Click the prominent "New Debit Card" button and select either a physical or virtual card. An intuitive setup process will lead you through cardholder selection and customization of card settings. Finally, review all details and you’re done!

Virtual cards require no additional steps; they're instantly activated and good to go! Physical cards typically arrive within 10 business days and need to be activated first, following instructions sent to you via email and postal mail.
