How to set up recurring payments
Boost your efficiency and streamline your payment processes by setting up recurring payments with amnis! Here's how it works:
Navigate to the "Automation" section in your amnis account and click on "New recurring payment".
In the first step, you need to define the conditions of your recurring payment. This includes specifying the start date and how often you want the transaction to be repeated. For example, you can choose to have the payment occur every week, or every month.
Please note: If the execution date falls on a weekend or holiday, the transaction will be executed on the following workday.
You can also choose to set an end date for your recurring payment if you have a specific date in mind. If you want the payment to continue indefinitely, you can keep the "Good till cancel" option active. This means that the recurring payment will continue until you decide to cancel it. You can cancel or reactivate a recurring payment at any time.
Tip: Assign a tag to your recurring payments to automatically categorize all transactions belonging to this automation. This allows you to easily identify them and speed up reporting.
Select the recipient or create a new contact and enter the payment details, such as bank account information and amount.
Review your recurring payment and give your automation a name before scheduling it.
Tip: Additionally, you can effortlessly convert a one-time payment into an automated transaction. Just enable the "Set up recurring payment" toggle during the second step of payment creation, and specify your desired automation parameters.
Overview and payment details
An overview of all recurring payments can be found in the "Recurring payments" tab. Click on a transaction to review all details and flexibly de- or reactivate the automation:
After a payment has been executed as part of an automation, you will also be able to view the payout details in your regular "Payments" overview.
