We’re thrilled to bring you some exciting updates this month: Our latest addition, the amnis DE-IBAN, is now available! Share your new German IBAN with your clients to streamline payment collection, making transactions smoother and more efficient.

Your amnis DE-IBAN

We have great news: Our new DE-IBAN for Euro transactions (SEPA Instant) is here, replacing the previous GB-IBAN! This change allows you to receive payments directly with a local DE-IBAN in your company’s name. By providing your customers with local IBAN details for Euro payments, you can significantly reduce transaction costs on both ends and make your payment process more efficient.

While the previous Euro-GB-IBAN will remain valid until further notice, we suggest updating your invoices with the new DE-IBAN for future payment collections.

Where to find your DE-IBAN:

  1. Navigate to the “Accounts” section in your amnis account.

  2. Select your Euro account.

  3. Click on “Account details” to view your new DE-IBAN information.

Please note: If your DE-IBAN is not yet visible in your amnis account, please contact your account manager for assistance.

Auto-accounting for card transactions

We’re excited to introduce you to our newest feature that simplifies your accounting tasks. Now, when you fill out expense information such as category, cost center, tags, and VAT rate for a card transaction in the amnis WebApp, you can save these details for future transactions with the same merchant. This means that the next time you’re charged by that merchant, all relevant details will be pre-filled automatically, making it particularly convenient for recurring expenses like ads, subscriptions, or public transport.

We’ve also released a new “Merchants” menu in the debit card section, allowing you to view a list of merchants you’ve previously paid. Each merchant has a detail page where you can check, assign, and edit the expense information. Additionally, you have the option to block merchants for card transactions.

This new feature eliminates the need for repeated manual input and enhances accuracy in expense tracking.

How to set up and save merchant details?

There are two ways to assign accounting details and save them for future transactions:

  1. Merchant Tab: Navigate to the “Merchants” tab in the “Debit Cards” section. Select a merchant to access their detail page. Under “Edit,” you can assign tags, cost centers, expense categories, and VAT rates.

  2. Transaction Detail Page: On the expense detail page of your card transaction (where receipts are uploaded), fill out all required accounting details. To ensure these settings are applied to future transactions, check the box at the bottom to save your settings for the given merchant.

Please note that the assigned details will only apply to future transactions. Moreover, merchants and their respective settings are applied globally to all card transactions belonging to your business account. Thus, if two employees assign different categories for the same merchant, they will overwrite each other’s settings.
