This month, we’ve rolled out a major upgrade: Pre-accounting now works across all transaction types - giving you full control and clarity over all your finances.
💡 Fun fact: More than 25% of all amnis card transactions are categorized each month - and now, you can bring that same structure to all your financial movements.

Categorize every transaction - not just expenses
With our new pre-accounting functionality, you can now categorize, tag, and annotate any transaction in your amnis WebApp - not just expenses. This means greater transparency, better bookkeeping, and less stress at month-end.
For each transaction, you can now add:
Category: Choose from your accounting list
VAT: Apply the correct rate
Cost center: Assign the transaction as needed
Notes: Add context for smoother reconciliation
Receipt upload: Attach proof just like with card payments
Admins can manage the setup in the WebApp, and the CSV export now includes all this information for easier handover to accounting.
Note for bexio Pay users: You can add categories, VAT, and receipts to all transaction types in the WebApp, however, only card transactions are currently synchronized with bexio. We’re actively exploring deeper integration!
New VAT option: Service import tax
You can now select from an expanded list of tax rates in your amnis account. In addition to input tax rates, service import tax rates are now also available - making your accounting even more precise.
You can configure the applicable VAT rates anytime under the company settings.
Scan & Pay: Now for CH, SEPA & CZ payments
Paying invoices just got easier! You can now scan Swiss, SEPA, and Czech QR codes directly in the amnis WebApp to pre-fill payment details - saving time and reducing manual input errors.
Coming soon: This feature will also be available in the amnis mobile app, so you can scan and pay on the go.

Have you activated your QR-IBAN for CHF payments yet?
Your amnis account now comes with a QR-IBAN for CHF transfers - enabling you to create QR invoices with reference numbers that simplify reconciliation and save you time on manual matching. If you haven’t started using it yet, this is your reminder to give it a try!
New: Document center
You can now find all key documents in one place! Head to the “Tools” section in your WebApp to access the new Document Center - including your contract, data policy, card and platform terms.
Card expiration reminders for all
No more surprises! Card users will now also receive card expiration reminder emails - not just admins. That way, everyone stays in the loop.
