Imagine this: You have just made a payment to your supplier, and they're eagerly expecting the funds. Instead of exchanging numerous calls or emails, you can simply provide them with a tracking link. This allows them to easily follow the payment's progress on their own, just like tracking a package, reducing the need for unnecessary back-and-forth communication.

Keeping your beneficiaries informed: Your Tracking Options

With the Payment Tracking Links functionality you can easily keep your beneficiaries updated on the status of your payments. There are several ways to track your payments and utilise the payment tracking feature, ensuring your beneficiaries stay informed with real-time updates and can view detailed payment information. We guide you through it:

Sharing payment tracking links after payment creation

If you've already initiated a payment and wish to view the details for yourself or send a tracking link to your beneficiary, simply navigate to the "Payments" section and proceed as follows:

  1. Click on the single payment for which you would like to view the details.

  2. Another sub-screen opens on the right, displaying the information on the payment tracking and the transaction details. Here, you also have the possibility to conveniently copy and share the payment tracking link by clicking on "Share transaction".

💡 You can also access the "Payments" overview to:

  • Download a confirmation PDF

  • Delete an open payment

  • Track the status of a payment for yourself

Sharing payment tracking links during payment creation

  1. Log into your amnis account.

  2. Go to "Payments", click "New payment" on top left and choose the beneficiary from your beneficiaries list. Alternatively, go directly to "Contacts", choose your beneficiary from the list and click "Pay" (on the right side).

  3. You have reviewed and initiated a payment in the amnis WebApp. In the fourth and final step ("Finished") you have two options to keep the payment's recipient informed about the state of your payment:

    1. You can enter the recipient’s email address and the recipient will receive a notification email with the amnis payment tracking link.

    2. You can keep your recipient or other parties informed about the status of your payment by sending a tracking link (->click on the blue copy icon next to the payment date; you can then insert this link into your browser or into an e-mail that you are sending to the recipient).

How to keep beneficiaries informed automatically

💡 Good to know: If you've already added an email address to the contact, an automatic tracking email will be sent once the payment is executed.

To ensure your contacts are informed automatically, simply navigate to the “Contacts” section in your amnis account, select the beneficiary, and click on “Add email”.

What your beneficiary will see

Anyone who receives a payment tracking link can access the public tracking page, where they can view detailed information about the payment status, including the expected time of arrival. Here’s what the recipients will see when they open the tracking link.

Pro tip: Peer-to-Peer payments allow instant transactions from one amnis account to another. Hence, no payment tracking is needed since the amnis PEER network allows you to send and receive funds to and from any business party around the globe within seconds. Note: While via the Mobile App you can currently manage debit card transactions, upload receipts and adjust settings with just a few taps, we are proactively working on expanding the features to provide you with a comprehensive experience as in the WebApp. 🚀
